O município de Matureia está inserido no mapa turístico do Brasil segundo dados do Ministério do Turismo. O Pico do Jabre, ponto mais alto da Paraiba e o segundo do Nordeste, é um dos principais atrativos que facilitaram a inclusão do município nos roteiros da Embratur. Hoje o Pico dispõe de uma Rampa de Vôo Livre.
Pico do Jabre - Parque ambiental que, segundo dados da Sudema, possui aproximadamente 500 hectares de área composta de espécies de Mata Atlântica e Caatinga. O Parque é reconhecido pelo Ministério do Meio Ambiente (MMA) como uma das maiores fontes de pesquisas biológicas do país, pois possui espécies endêmicas que só existem aqui na reserva ecológica e devem ser fruto de estudo para evitar extinção de exemplares raros da fauna e da flora.
